Mazda's MZR 2.3 DISI (Direct Injection Spark Ignition) turbo-charged engine produces an enthusiastic 235bhp at 5,000rpm and 350Nm of torque at only 2,500rpm, and maintains at least 99% of the maximum torque all the way to 5,000rpm where peak horsepower is delivered.

The Active Torque-Split All-Wheel Drive system monitors engine information, individual wheel speeds, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) systems to optimize torque distribution for precise handling under all road conditions.
