6 Airbags

Six airbags come standard in this little Mazda! So you and your mates can drive with added, or should we say, padded peace of mind.

Collision Safety

The Mazda2 offers high level of collision safety; its rigid body structure helps to protect passengers by absorbing and dispersing impact forces from the front, sides and rear. Also equipped with a four-wheel antilock braking system (4W-ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) to assures good controllability of the car at all times. Dynamic Stability control system also keeps oversteer and understeer in control to prevent skidding off track.

MAIDAS

Mazda’s MAIDAS body is capable of withstanding a wide variety of accidents with extensive use of high-tensile steel sheet in the body that absorbs frontal impact forces without excessive cabin deformation - offsetting collisions and side collisions. The result is our cars achieving the top level of crash safety performance in the NCAP tests of the various destination markets.
